Blobs that merge as they meet, with the cursor as one of them. Colors blend where the fields overlap instead of one winning.

Metaballs

Translucent folded membranes with soft optical thickness and a gently recovering local touch.

Membrane Field

Branching filaments that stick to the cursor and spring back once it leaves. Rotating the field between folds is what turns a grid of sines into a network.

Neuro Noise

Persistent grains of pigment that disperse and settle into different Chladni-inspired patterns as your cursor moves across the surface.

Cymatic Dust

A ruffled sheet resolved into the grains that sit on it: the lattice lives in the sheet's own space, so the particles stay stuck to the surface and pack tighter where it turns away.

Particle Bloom

A rolling swell made of dust: millions of fine grains riding long, slow waves, dim on the slopes and burning bright along the crests, a few glinting, a few drifting in the dark above, the nearest opening into soft discs out of focus. The pointer raises the swell.

Stardust Tide

Dust motes drifting through a beam of sunlight in six depths: carried together by slow air currents, lit only where the beam crosses them, flashing as flat flakes tumble. The cursor stirs the air into a swirl, and the room can be turned off to float particles over your page.

Particles

Soft leaf shadows, warm afternoon light and a quiet, local breeze.

Canopy Light

A field of sand dunes made of fine grains, seen low toward a low sun: smooth crests running aslant, each dune built from bands of coloured sand, palest at the crest; grains sparkling where the sun falls, shadows fading softly; the wind lifting a veil of sand off the nearer crests while the dunes creep downwind and the far ones settle into haze. The pointer carries the sun, sweeping the light and shadows across the dunes.

Dune Strata

Snow falling through a lamp-lit night in six depths: far flakes small and sharp, near ones large and soft, turning as six-armed crystals and flashing when they face the lamp, each fluttering on its way down. The cursor stirs them aside, and the sky can be turned off to snow over your page.
