A dot matrix that breathes. The pointer moves through it like water behind glass: dots stretch, swirl and fringe into color in its wake, then settle. A gentler ripple is the other hover style.

Dot Grid

A dark grid of small rounded cells; now and then one lets out light: a ring opening from a point to its edge, two rings one after the other, or an arc running once round its rim, each split in two colors. The cells near the pointer light along their rims and merge into one glowing shape.

Pulse Grid

A pinwheel of overlapping petals of silver-white light meeting in thin bright seams, seen on an LED wall: soft square cells whose gaps the brightest light floods. Its paint sprays outward from the center like vapor, curling and coming out in puffs that spiral away, and the pointer lights the cells under it.

LED Bloom

A wall of square glass tiles with a few soft lines of light behind it, drifting slowly and rising and falling in long waves. Each tile bends the light toward its lower-left corner, so a line behind it shows as a glowing L; the joints catch a fine double edge. The pointer brings a soft light behind the tiles under it.

Backlit Glass

Matte ceramic hexagons on a wall with a lamp behind it. Where the cursor goes, light burns through the gaps and streams out across the tiles in shafts, as in God Rays.

Hex Tiles

A split-flap board: a wave rolls across the grid and each tile turns on its horizontal axis. The turn is a real projection — the edge swinging toward you grows, which is the cue that sells the rotation.

Flip Tiles

A space frame seen from above: round struts in layers that sink into fog, with light signals racing along them. The pointer tilts the frame and wakes the struts beneath it.

Iso Grid

An isometric field of solid blocks moving through a deliberate rise, hold, and fall cycle. A directional phase wave travels across the grid while the pointer lifts nearby cubes.

Rising Cubes

A perspective floor running to a horizon under a slitted sun. The floor is a real projection, so the lines crowd correctly toward the vanishing point.

Grid Horizon

A field of glowing points riding a slow, rolling swell, seen low across it toward the horizon: the near points open into soft out-of-focus discs, the mid-distance ones are crisp, the far ones crowd into a glow, and the crests catch a light from behind and burn along their edges. The pointer sends rings across the swell.
