Light, through another angle.
A ring of light seen through reeded glass whose flutes ripple on their own. Tune the waves, spectral edges and pointer ripple in the WebGPU editor.

THE SYSTEM BEHIND THE SURFACE
Inside Prism Halo.
A soft, asymmetric light ring sits behind reeded glass. Each flute is a small lens that gathers a band of the ring into its own width, breaking it into stepped copies with cool and warm edges. Slow waves travel along the flutes by themselves, bending every lens so the steps crawl, and the pointer sends a ripple through the glass.
An art-directed screen-space optical effect, not physical prism ray tracing, a fluid simulation or refraction of the HTML behind the canvas.
No published timing sample. Profile this effect on your target devices.

Ring thickness
Thickness of the ring.
Organic shape
How far the ring's outline departs from a circle.
