Color, in another light.
An organic holographic foil background for React. Shape flowing color bands, soft transitions and film coverage, then export the WebGPU effect.

THE SYSTEM BEHIND THE SURFACE
Inside Iridescent Foil.
Iridescent Foil bends broad holographic color bands through an organic phase field over a flat base. Band direction, spread, softness and film coverage control the surface.
It is an art-directed color model, not calibrated spectral thin-film interference. It does not wrap an uploaded logo or use a crumpled foil texture.
2.032 ms GPU timestamp median; p95 4.26 ms. 1440x900 @ dpr 1.5; Metal driver on macOS Version 26.6.2 (Build 25G83); measured 2026-09-05. This is a recorded headless sample, not a browser FPS or mobile-performance guarantee.
Band direction
Direction of the colour bands, in radians.
Band spread
Density of the colour bands; higher values make them narrower.
Band softness
How smoothly each colour eases into the next.
Colour bands
How many times the film cycles across the visible angle range.
Color Looks preserve these settings. Open the editor for all 13 controls.

Made for a real interface.
Bring a changing color identity to a fashion or culture announcement. Pair the broad bands with a minimal heading and repeat the selected accent in navigation.

Never just one thing.
Style, objects and identities seen from a different angle. An ongoing study in change.
An illustrative layout. Your content stays in HTML; the shader sets the atmosphere.
