Inside Glass Reel.

A rounded, three-dimensional film strip carries your media through an authored studio. Images and videos share the same surface coordinates, so they follow every bend and axial twist. Distance-based travel keeps the film moving evenly along its path. Optional paired perforations move with the frames; they are openings through both faces, not dark dots painted on the glass. Fresnel reflection, a tinted glass body and restrained edge dispersion give the strip its liquid-glass finish.

This is a controlled mesh surface, not a cloth solver or a full scene ray tracer. Refraction samples the shader's studio, not the HTML behind it. MP4 and WebM support depends on browser codecs. Animated GIF decoding, audio playback, online storage and a Svelte adapter are not included. The React Export Kit requires its included renderer folder; WGSL alone cannot reproduce the geometry.

No published timing sample. Profile this effect on your target devices.

Made for a real interface.

Give a photography portfolio, film studio or product collection a moving editorial opening. Keep the essential story in accessible HTML and let a small, considered sequence of images run through the glass. This demonstration uses existing Aperveil shader posters as film content, not as screenshots of Glass Reel.

A moving editorial sequence

One strip. Your point of view.

Photography, short films and product studies share one continuous glass surface. Add your media in the editor to try your own sequence.

An illustrative layout. Your content stays in HTML; the shader sets the atmosphere.
