Aperveil MCP

Find shaders and blocks, explore their options and get installation guides without leaving your AI editor.

01

Your catalog, inside your editor

Aperveil MCP lets your AI editor search the published shader and block catalog, explain an item's parameters and return an installation guide for your framework. It is included in @aperveil/cli from version 0.2.1.

Install Node.js 20 or newer on the computer running your editor. Then connect your editor using this command:

MCP server command
npx -y @aperveil/cli@0.2.1 mcp

Your editor starts this as a local stdio process, which reads the live Aperveil catalog over HTTPS. There is no hosted MCP URL to paste and no separate MCP package to install. No Aperveil login or token is needed.

  1. Configure the server in your editor and confirm that its three tools appear.
  2. Ask for a shader or block that fits your page, framework and preferred style.
  3. Review its options and installation guide, then run the returned CLI command in your app's directory.

MCP supplies information and commands. It does not run those commands, edit your files, inspect your project or read local account credentials. Your editor's normal command tools can perform the installation when you ask them to.

Free items can be installed without an account. Pro items are marked coming soon and have no installation command while Pro access and sales remain closed.
