Install — Blocks

Install an Aperveil block for React, Vue, plain HTML, WordPress or Framer: view its code, download it, copy it, or add it with the CLI.

Install

Open Install and pick a platform. View code shows exactly the files the download holds, in the design you made; Download gives them as a ZIP with a README. Framer takes the block as one code file instead: copy it and paste it into a new code file.

React

Unzip into components/aperveil/ and render the block from its index.tsx.

React guide

Vue

Unzip into components/aperveil/ and render the block from its Section component.

Vue guide

HTML

Unzip, then copy the marked section of index.html and its files into your page.

HTML guide

WordPress

In WordPress: Plugins, Add New, Upload Plugin. The block is under Design.

WordPress guide

Framer

Copy the code file, paste it into a new code file in Framer and drag the block onto the page.

Framer guide

The CLI adds a block's default design and installs its shared dependencies. React is the default; choose Vue, HTML or WordPress with --framework. Free blocks need no account. For your customized studio design, download the ZIP and follow its README.

terminal
npx @aperveil/cli add block signature-hero
npx @aperveil/cli add block signature-hero --framework vue

React and Vue ZIPs list their public dependencies in the README. HTML and WordPress include their browser assets and need no npm installation.

Installing shaders on their own: see the guide for React, Vue, HTML, WordPress or Framer.
