Depth you can almost feel.
A soft velvet fabric background for React with broad folds and grazing sheen. Tune the pile response and studio lighting, then export the WebGPU material.

THE SYSTEM BEHIND THE SURFACE
Inside Velvet Atelier.
Velvet Atelier combines broad analytic folds with a Charlie cloth distribution and visibility approximation. Directional short pile darkens the fabric body and catches soft grazing light. Surface-anchored fiber detail is filtered at distance, with independent pile direction, contrast and fiber scale controls.
This is a fabric shading model, not a cloth solver or individual-fiber simulation. No garment geometry or fabric measurements are loaded.

Pile direction
Orientation of the short velvet fibers; does not rotate the folds.
Pile contrast
Darkens light absorbed between fibers and strengthens the soft grazing sheen.
Fiber scale
Scale of the filtered, surface-anchored pile texture.
Fold scale
Density of the folds; higher values make them smaller and more numerous.
