Where light gathers.
Projected light contours with subtle color separation. Tune the lens field, receiver and light softness, then export a WebGPU background for React.

THE SYSTEM BEHIND THE SURFACE
Inside Prismatic Caustics.
A fixed RGB ray grid refracts through a procedural surface. Forward projection accumulates overlapping light in an offscreen texture, then filters and displays it. Lens, Fold and Ripple change the projecting surface.
This is geometric screen-space caustics, not calibrated spectral rendering or full path tracing. The display WGSL requires its companion caustics renderer.
No published timing sample. Profile this effect on your target devices.
Glass profile
Shape of the glass casting the light: a classic lens, overlapping folds, or ripples.
Contour complexity
Balances broad curved contours and smaller, intersecting concentrations of light.
Focus softness
Broadens concentrated light without removing wavelength separation.
Glass curvature
How strongly the glass is curved; higher values focus the light into tighter caustics.
Color Looks preserve these settings. Open the editor for all 18 controls.
APERVEIL PRO
Coming soon.
This Pro surface's demo, editor and downloads will open in a later release. Free shaders and blocks are available now.
Explore shadersTHE SURFACE IN CONTEXT
Made for a real interface.
Create a focused optical moment for a glass or design exhibition. Keep the title compact and let the projected contour field occupy the open part of the viewport.

Light as a material
An exhibition in a different light.
A meeting of glass, projected contours and the space between them.
An illustrative layout. Your content stays in HTML; the shader sets the atmosphere.
