Flip

Mirror the scene, so the dune rises on the right and leaves open sky on the left.

Strata5

How many coloured bands lie under the ridge before the sand darkens.

Band depth1

How deep each band of sand is.

Blend0.65

How softly each band turns into the next. Zero gives crisp edges; one, a continuous gradient.

Grain0.4

A fine grain over the gradients, so they never band. Zero gives clean colour.

Ridge glow1

How brightly the light behind the dune burns along its ridge.

Distant dunes0.75

How strongly the misty dunes beyond show.

Light trail0.8

Brightness of the trail of light across the foot of the frame.

Morning to evening: halfway is the palette as set; toward morning the sky pales and the light cools, toward evening the sky turns violet over an orange horizon and the light goes gold.

Day cycle0

Walks the time of day slowly from morning to evening and back. Zero holds it where Time of day sets it.

Wind1

How fast the sand and the light move; 0 holds the scene still.

Hover light0.6

How brightly the cursor draws the light along the ridge. Zero leaves it be.

Opacity1

Opacity of the complete effect.
